Camary Le’Bria Chew

Camary Le‛Bria Chew is the lovely daughter of Ms. Mary Chew. Camary is a graduating senior at South Grand Prairie High School . Camary knows that she is here today because of the prayers and support for her biological family, extended family, church family, and by the grace and mercy of God.

Camary is actively involved, in the Student Council, DECA-Delta Epsilon Chi, Junior Civitan, Ready Set Teach and the Diamond Dolls. Camary has been recognized as a Great Texas Scholar, an attendance clerk assistant, athletic trainer, Cheerleader and Cheerleading Coach for the Grand Prairie Raiders Little League C team. Camary has also been a piano recital participant for three years and a member of the 2010 South Grand Prairie High School Prom Court.

Camary is an active member of the New Mount Gilead Baptist Church in Dallas , Texas under the extraordinary leadership of Reverend Roy W. Locke. She is involved in numerous activities such as Mime Dance Ministry, Praise Dance Ministry, Youth Choir, Mass Choir, Prison Ministry-Our Brothers-In-White, Youth activity coordinator and has served as Vice President of the Youth Department.

Her community involvement includes visiting nursing homes, over a hundred hours at the Museum of Nature & Science at Fair Park, The Center of Hope Women’s Shelter and the Boys’ and Girls’ Club of Grand Prairie.

Camary is excited about attending Baylor University in the fall majoring in Philosophy and being apart of their Pre-Dental program. It is her desire to become a General & Cosmetic Dentist and one day having several offices.

Camary is escorted by Joseph Edward Grimes, son of Reverend and Mrs. Joseph Grimes. Joseph is a senior at Cedar Hill High School . He plans to attend Devry University in pursuit of a degree in Computer & Electrical Engineering.

Creesha Charlene Anthony Hardee

Creesha Charlene Anthony Hardee is the proud daughter of Craig Anthony and Lateesha Hardee. Creesha is a very active young lady and a senior in the School of Business Management at Yvonne A. Ewell Townview Magnet Center.

Creesha has been a dedicated member of the award winning Big ‘D’ Band for four years. She participates in the marching, concert, jazz and pep band where she plays the flute, baritone and valve trombone. During her membership in the band, she has earned the title of Section Leader for the baritones her junior year and Head Drum Major her senior year. She has also acquired numerous 1st division ratings at Dallas Independent School District Solo and Ensemble competition and the Region Solo and Ensemble competition advancing her to the State competition.

Creesha is an active youth member at her church, St. Luke “Community” United Methodist Church under the pastoral leadership of Pastor Tyrone D. Gordon. She sings in the Lillian E. Berry Youth Choir, dances with the Youth Sacred Dance Ministry, ushers with the Youth Usher Board and is the current President of the United Methodist Youth Fellowship Ministry. In April 2009, Creesha was honored to receive the “Rising Star Award”, which is given to a youth who exhibits outstanding participation and leadership within the youth ministries.

She is a member of the Girl Scouts of America where she recently earned her Gold Award, the highest honor a Girl Scout can receive. She is ranked 18 in her class of 120 with a 3.5 GPA. Creesha plans to continue her education in Business Management and obtain a teaching certificate so that she may return to a school to teach and make a difference in students’ lives.

Creesha is being escorted by Xavier Barkwell. He is the proud son of John and Leisa Jones. He is a senior at Skyline Center and will be entering the United States Naval Academy after graduation.

Gabriélle Michélle Leonard

Gabriélle Michélle Leonardis the daughter of Tyrone and Denise Leonard. She is a senior at Duncanville High School where he will graduate as a Texas Scholar, a member of the National Technical Honor Society and the National Honor Society. She was voted Duncanville High School ’s 2009 Homecoming Queen.

Gabriélle has been incredibly active throughout her high school career. She started on the Duncanville Varsity softball team her freshmen year, is an active member of the Business Professionals of America and a two year member of the Student Council. Gabriélle is also her school’s Senior Debate Squad Leader and a member of the Interact Club. In recognition of her hard work she was featured in the “Good Kid Article” in the Dallas Morning News.

Gabriélle has a passion for staying actively involved in her community. She has over one hundred fifty hours of community service. For three years she participated in the City of Duncanville Teen Court where she served as their defense attorney and received their “Rising Star” award last session. Gabriélle has also volunteered at the Duncanville Recreational Park , Tri-City Animal Shelter and Concord Missionary Baptist Church .

Gabriélle attends Trinity Church of Cedar Hill, pastored by Jim and Becky Hennesy. Here she has found spiritual guidance to strengthen her walk with the Lord.

Gabriélle will be graduating in the top 10% of her class with a 3.5 GPA. She intends to continue her academic studies at a four year university with a double major in Political Science and Psychology. She will later attend law school and fulfill her career aspiration as a successful lawyer.

Gabriélle is being escorted by Christian D’Vaughn White. He is the proud son of Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Banks. He is a Senior at Cedar Hill High School . He plans to attend the University of Houston majoring in Architecture.

Jade Y’Lis Wright

Jade Y’Lis Wright is the proud daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James and Norma Wright. She is the granddaughter of Ms. Mary Frances Greene. Jade is a graduating senior at Skyline High School . Jade has been a four year member of the award winning EXP Drum line, where she has won numerous awards and outstanding marks in UIL competitions and community events. She is very active in community service as a volunteer with the Red Cross, North Texas Food Bank, the Martin Luther King, Jr. Center, and a member of Dr. Jeanne L. Noble Delta GEMS, a service program of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc.

Jade is a committed and faithful member of St. Luke “Community” United Methodist Church, under the pastoral leadership of Pastor Tyrone D. Gordon. She has completed confirmation, youth bible study, and is a member of Girl Scouts troop 1680. She is actively involved in the Lillie E. Berry Youth Choir and a three year daughter in the Adora Ministry, a rights of passage for young women. As she continues her journey into womanhood as a Christian, she realizes that her seventeen years have been blessed and highly favored, therefore she must stay prayed up for the best is yet to come!

During her childhood her parents taught her “[she] can do all things through Christ who strengthens [her]” (Philippians 4:13). This has led her to see life as an adventure with no obstacles greater than the God she serves.

Jade plans to attend Texas Southern University, where she aspires to become a member of the Mighty Ocean of Soul Band, and to pursue a degree in Music Education so that she can be a Band Director.

Jade is escorted by JaColby Davis, son of Ms. LaTracy Thomas. He attends Skyline Career Development Center . After high school he plans to enter the U.S. Navy, where he is going to be in the special forces.
