![]() The Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated Kappa Zeta Chapter has deep roots within the Dallas community. As Zeta women we not only work hard for Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, we also reach out and share our time and talents with the Dallas community at large through countless hours of service. For over 90 years, we have worked hard to build partnerships with other philanthropic organizations and support those in need. We pride ourselves on finer womanhood, scholarship, leadership, friendship, service, hard work and dedication to community based endeavors. We are an enthusiastic, “community conscious, action-oriented” group of women who work toward impacting the Dallas community. We hope as you peruse our site that you have an opportunity to get to know us better and see how we support our community.
Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated Kappa Zeta Chapter was organized by Dr. Helen Wilson Johnson at her home in December of 1931. There were approximately twelve members in attendance, which included Zeta Members Jean Benson, Willa Bernice Hicks, Marzell Hill, Verdie Langrum, Grace D. Neal, Ruby Ventress, Fairillia White, Viola Dixon Cole, Mildred Davis and Helen Wilson Johnson. Charter members were Fairillia White, Jean Benson, Viola Cole, Helen Wilson Johnson and Lillian Bolden. Kappa Zeta chapter strives to uphold and continue the legacy of Service, Scholarship, Sisterhood and Finer Womanhood, on which Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated was established. Our founding principles are the central focus of all chapter programs and activities. Focusing on our founding principles, effective management and accountability to the chapter allows us to continue to grow and improve chapter cohesiveness. Kappa Zeta leadership works hard to promote these ideals and guide the chapter forward. |
