The scholarship is to be awarded to high school seniors or student with a GED who has completed the Storks Nest Education Program through Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., Kappa Zeta Chapter and the Stork's Nest Charity Fund of Dallas, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.​

The winner will be selected on the documentation and recommendations submitted.  The winner will be honored Spring 2023.

  1. Must have completed the Storks Nest Education Program through Kappa Zeta, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. and Stork's Nest Charity Fund of Dallas
  2. Must be a high school senior or completed GED within the last year prior to submitting an application.
  3. Must plan to pursue vocational school, trade school, or 2 or 4 year college/university within 2 years of completing the Storks Nest Education Program.
  4. Must be a resident of Dallas County.​

  1. Click here to complete the application for this scholarship.
  2. Then scan the following items:
    1. Professional/Graduation Photo (wallet size/passport photo)
    2. Official high school transcript with an unweighted GPA listed and/or with directions on how to convert your weighted GPA to unweighted or GED Certificate
    3. One letter of recommendation from an educator or community leader ...  The recommendation should be addressed to the Scholarship Committee of Kappa Zeta with a signature and contact information.
    4. Committee will verify enrollment and completion of the Storks Nest Education Program.
How to attach documents:
  1. Gmail Account Holder: Please create a folder with your supporting documentation. Be sure to update the share settings on your folder to include that "anyone with the link" may view. Your folder should be titled:  Storks Nest_[First and Last name].  Send the folder link to [email protected]  by 11:59 PM on Friday, March 31, 2023. Please title your email subject Storks Nest_[First and Last name].

  2. Non- Gmail Account Holder: Email your PDF file which includes your transcript, letters of recommendation, community service hours, and statement. Your digital photo will need to be attached separately as a JPEG or PNG. Send all documents to [email protected] by 11:59 PM on Friday, March 31, 2023. The subject of your email should be "Storks Nest_[First and Last name]
